Ulcerative Colitis

Ulcerative Colitis is a disease of the Alimentary System that causes inflammation, swelling and ulcers in the inner lining of rectum and colon (large intestine). These produces mucus and bleed.

Ulcerative Colitis is a chornic disease, but there may be temporary remission (periods of good health) or aggravation (relapses or flare-ups). A very similar disease is the Crohn's disease having similar symptoms.

Symptoms of Ulcerative Colitis are (1) Frequent diarrhoea where stools may be watery or semisolid but always with mucus, there may be blood also. (2) Pain in abdomen. (3) Fatigue and unwell feeling. (4) Anemia may be due to the bleeding. (5) Occasionally ulcers in mouth.

Cause of Ulcerative Colitis is still unknown, but I have found that mental stress plays an important part of it. Complications are Arthritis, Spondylosis, Ankylosing spondylitis, Skin diseases and inflammation of the eyes.

Treatment : I have formulated a unique homeo-herbal medicine for Ulcertative Colitis which is safe and has no side effects even when taken for a long time. It has cured mild cases permanently and has considerably prolonged the period of remission. It is not toxic to kidney and liver. This is not all; the final prescription is always based on individual mental and physical constitution of the patient along with the above mentioned medicine.

Psycho-somatic disease or condition is that, where the root of the disease is at the mental level and the manifestation of it is at the physical bodily level. Since the cause is at the mental level all physical investigation appears to be normal.
